When reporting a bug, please include your device model, iOS or Android version, app version (Settings → About), and a short description of what you were doing when it happened. A screenshot or screen recording helps a lot.

How do I invite people to a trip?
Open a trip, tap the members avatar stack at the top, then tap Invite. Share the link via Messages, WhatsApp, or any app you like. Anyone with the link can join.
Can I use Oumuamua without an account?
You need an account to sync trips across devices and invite collaborators. You can sign in with Google, Apple, or a magic link to your email.
How are expenses split?
Expenses are split equally by default across everyone marked as a participant on that expense. You can change participants per expense and the running balance updates automatically.
Where are my photos stored?
Photos you attach to places are uploaded to our storage (Supabase, EU region) and linked to your trip. We don’t scan them, train models on them, or share them.
Why didn't I get a push notification?
Check Settings → Notifications inside the app and make sure notifications are enabled at the iOS or Android system level for Oumuamua. If you recently reinstalled the app, sign out and back in to refresh the push token.
How do I export my trip data?
Email us at hello@oumuamua.appfrom the address tied to your account and we’ll send your data as JSON within 7 days.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes your trips, photos, and personal data within 30 days. If you can’t access the app, email us and we’ll handle it.
Reporting abuse or a safety concern
If someone is using Oumuamua to harass you or shared content that violates our terms, email hello@oumuamua.app with “Abuse Report” in the subject and a link or screenshot of the content. We respond to safety reports within 24 hours.
Status and outages
If the app feels broken across the board — sign-in failing, trips not loading — it’s usually a temporary backend issue. Email us and we’ll confirm whether something is down on our end.
